چکیده
s identified through the literature search were screened using eligibility criteria defined to include all English language primary experimental studies that evaluated the impact of omega-3 fatty acids on arrhythmia, intermediate mechanisms of arrhythmia, and electrogenesis. Reports published only as letters or abstracts were excluded. Articles associated with abstracts that passed these screens were retrieved and screened once more for eligibility. Studies were included if they examined the effect of omega-3 fatty acids on whole heart parameters (e.g., ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation), contractile parameters (e.g., heart rate, inotropic parameters), basoelectromechanical parameters (e.g., relative refractory period), ion pumps/movement (e.g., cytosolic calcium influx/efflux), ion currents (e.g., sodium currents), or ion channels (e.g., binding capacity).

P28: The Effects of Omega-3 and 6 Fatty Acids on Hippocampus and Learning
One of the most nervous system evolution are memory and learning in humans. Learning is a skill that enhances synaptic activity in the hippocampus of prefrontal cortex. In fact, basic passive learning is communication between the conditioned and Unconditioned stimulation. Passive learning involves three steps: habit, education and remember. According to the results of investigations, the hippoc...
متن کاملP-19: The Effect of Mice Maternal Diet Supplemented with Omega-3 Fatty Acids on The Testicular Structure of Offspring: Stereological Study
Background Despite the bulk of studies on fatty acid supplementation in maternal diet and confirmed the positive effects on brain and vision, these effects on offspring reproductive organs have not been tested. The aim of the present study was to stereological evaluate the effect of feeding Fish Oil (FO) for mothers on the testis structure of offspring. MaterialsAndMethods Sixty mature female N...
متن کاملEffects of salt stress on total lipid values, fatty acid profiles, omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9, in the brown algea Sargassum boveanum on Bushehr coast
Some algae are rich sources of various beneficial lipids and fatty acids. In recent years, several studies have been performed on algae to evaluate the effect of different salinity treatments on the quantity and quality of these lipids. The present study was performed to investigate the effect of different concentrations of sodium chloride on total lipid content, fatty acid profile, and omega-3...
متن کاملReview Article: The importance of Omega-3 fatty acids in fish on human health
Heart failure (HF) incidence increases worldwide and is affected by various risk factors such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, obesity, and diabetes. Dietary recommendations for patients with HF have generally focused on sodium restriction; however, different nutritional approaches are considered in patients with a high risk of malnutrition due to the diuretic drugs they use. Omega-3 f...
متن کاملEffect of Short and Long-Term Treatment with Omega-3 Fatty Acids on Scopolamine-Induced Amnesia
Two omega-3 fatty acids including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) are essential for the physiologic function of neuronal cell membrane. Normal function of neuronal cell membrane requires appropriate composition of fatty in its structure. Present study was designed to compare the effect of short-term and long-term pretreatment with omega-3 fatty acids on scopolamine...
